He is soft, and sensitive to your leg and seat cues.  Just a pleasure to ride.  He has excellent ground manners, good for all your daily handling- baths, clips, ties, farrier, trailers well. He has knowledge of groundwork and natural horsemanship fundamentals and has experience with obstacle workshops and  clinics.  His ideal partner  would be an advanced beginner to intermediate rider with confidence as he is still young and has many more experiences ahead. Shadow is a 10 year old, 16 hand, black Tennessee Walker, super friendly personality, awesome on the trail, very confident, not spooky, barefoot and surefooted, trailers and ties great. He is a forward horse with lots of energy, and is best for a confident rider, intermediate level and above. He is great going over any obstacles, water, etc. Have never had him hesitate to cross anything. He has done field trials, and has been shot off of. With his energy and stamina, he would also be a good endurance prospect. His flat walk is very fast most of the time, and he doesn’t even need to gait to cover a lot of ground quickly. His canter is smooth and just awesome. He will lead or follow. Shadow will be a perfect trail partner for the avid trail rider!

Very special mare, Grace is impeccably bred- granddaughter of Nu-cash and great granddaughter of Colonel Freckles on one side and  Grandparents Smart little Lena (Doc O’lena and Smart Peppy) on the other.  Gracie  was originally started in reining and I have taken her everywhere. She does everything- and she does it with a smile.  She works cows, rides trail (camping), has competed in trail trials and extreme cowgirl competitions. Very well broke, with a fabulous work ethic and sweet personality. The smoothest gaits (I bought her for her gliding trot). She is my steady Eddy, that allows me to pull her out for a  joy ride now and then! She has helped me win numerous competitions from extreme cowgirl, reining, to playdays. I just cannot ride her often enough- and someone should be enjoying her, extremely hard to let her go though…

He moves off of your legs to side pass or spin or to open gates, and of course is soft and fexible. He is very versatile could go competive trail, or trail trials- or ranch versatility.
