Started at age 5, currently 7 1/2 years young. Up-to-date on everything. Looking for that flashy show horse?

He’s your guy!! Advanced beginner ok, the more experience you have, the nicer he performs.
Gorgeous, super curious, friendly, ever so sweet and trusting, and fun!! 16 hands, 1200 lb. APHA gelding who’s very athletic and versatile. Moves nicely off the leg, stops off the seat. Side passes, turns on the forehand and haunches, neck reins. Rocking horse lope. Easy for the farrier and vet. Shod all four. Trailers easily. No pull back.

He was 2 inches shorter at age 6. The videos in this post are current and were taken during his recent training sessions. Had 13 months of trail and obstacle experience before I acquired him and shifted the focus to arena training.
The YouTube video was taken at age 6 when his emphasis was more general ranch training, trails, and working with cows.

The time has come for Hollywood to find his next home and reach his potential. Woody is a 14 hand, 7 year old Gypsy Vanner gelding. He has been with me for 3 years and has been a joy the entire time. He has trail experience and is bold and gentle and everything to you would want in a trail horse. He has an amazing foundation now- great manners, and in the saddle. He is not quite ready for the show ring- but if that’s your desire he would be in short order. If you have been looking for a partner to do a variety of disciplines, Woody would fit the bill. Thinning my own herd. As painful as this is- it is the best thing for the horses. My loss is your gain as I regretfully offer DELILAH (registered name WHIZZEN I WAS FAMOUS). With Great Grandsire TOPSAIL CODY, Delilah has great bloodlines, has produced 2 beautiful foals, (pictures of both in the mix below) She is registered in both the AQHA and the National Reining Horse Associations. She stands 14.1 hands and is 10  years old. She has been ridden by a number of riders and is tolerant and easy for them all, Has an wonderful temperament, (references besides my own available upon request). Although she is great in the arena, could do Cowboy or western dressage as well as reining-she really excels on trail. She is safe and sane, but not at all a slug. She is sensitive without being reactive- so suits best with a balanced rider that has soft hands. She will tolerate everyone, but her training shows best with riders with feel. The last few years have been primarily exploring N. Cal. She crosses water, bridges, logs and obstacles, opens gaits, has been to Running I Ranch, the Stoval ranch, and all over N. Cal on mountain trails. She is too good a trail horse to sit here waiting on the occasional outing. She has a great foundation started at 4 years old- and a reining further education. This give her all the buttons needed to go into any discipline you would like! Because of her training and sensitivity- I recommend an advanced beginner and above rider (though she is safe for the kiddos under supervision) UTD on all healthcare vaccines and teeth. Lewis is ready to see the world! He is looking for a partner to have trail and camping and a variety of adventures with. He will stay on partial training to stay fit till he finds his new home.
Lewis is a registered Tennessee walking horse 8 years old 15.0 hands tall. He is as sweet as they come with personality plus, he has done over 100 trail miles (completed a virtual Tevis in 2020 ) and loves his job OnTrails. He is solid -not at all spooky or reactive and goes wherever you point him. He has a wonderful foundation, is sensitive to your cues and can move off your legs and seat. He has started building the muscles to gate consistently and is smooth even when he is not in his true gate. He is good to load and trailer, stands tied quietly, stands quietly to mount, he is good to groom, bathe, and with the Farrier. Any level of rider is safe on this guy! He is an all-around fun, funny and favorite horse here at the ranch. He has front shoes only- but could easily go barefoot. I found the horse that everybody’s asked me for…. Here’s my typical wish list… around 15 hands tall, 8-12 years old, safe, sane, sound with Arena and trail experience. Well here you go!
Max- Registered QH Gelding 15.1 hands 8years old, started as a three year old with six months of performance horse training by Stephen Allen performance horses in Auburn. Then ridden and enjoyed on the trails all over northern California he’s done at Placerville Christmas parade he’s been to the beach, just enjoyed everywhere- and also went back to Steven Allen for another nine months total of performance horse training throughout the years. Max is as happy in the arena as he is out on trail. He could be a western dressage, or Cowboy Dressage prospect if you’d like to show. he could do any of the ranch classes and he could also possibly go western pleasure with some adjustments, he has some slow smooth gaits when asked. Out on the trail he is comfortable, relaxed,courageous. He rides in a group or by himself is not spooky or overreactive- but does move off your legs. Of course he opens gates, side passes, leg yields, spins, moves his hind quarters—-all of it! Up-to-date on all healthcare vaccines, and he wears shoes. Asking $11,000.

This beautiful registered Tennessee walking horse is searching for her forever home. She is 17 years old has tons of trails miles and is forward and smooth like a Tennessee Walker should be. She is as sweet as can be on the ground with great ground manners. She doesn’t spook or shy but she is forward and likes to move out! On occasion she will walk loose reined with a group of quarter horses, but alone her preference is to cover ground. She can ride in the back middle or front of a group, or ride out confidently by herself. She would be best suited for a rider that has experience with Gaited horses or rides with Gaited Horses. Wow! Just Wow. Amazing young horse looking for a forever home. Magnum is a 3.5 year old registered Gypsy Vanner. His bloodlines trace back to the Lion King line. He is 14.0 hands and may nature to be 14.2. He is temperament is unmatched. He has great ground manners, is quiet and gentle around everybody large or small. He has been well started under saddle…. lightly like a young horse should be. He has a walk, trot and canter in the arena, and carries himself very well while doing so. He moves off your legs and goes down the trail with courage in whatever position you put him- front, middle or back. He’s also happy to ride out alone! He has been exposed to obstacles, flags, bridges and all manner of human “scary things”. He has proven to Rock solid even with the Emus that live next-door. Nothing thing seems to faze him. He is still young though, and has many firsts—but this is a horse that would excel in working equitation, trail trials, Equine Trail Sports, Dressage or Cowboy Dressage (as he matures). Flash is an all around fun ride. He has a ton of trail miles under his belt, is courageous and steady. He has great ground manners, good with farrier, trailer loads easily, stands tied for long periods, as well as for saddling and mounting.   Not barn or horse sour- rides out by himself, He will walk with the quarter horses down the trail, or gait with the best of them in a group of more forward gaited horses. So versatile, and happy in the front, middle, or back of any group. He is flexible, (not stiff or braced) and move with your legs and body-can neck rein as well.  He is most suitable for a person who enjoys gaited horses, but would also be perfect for a rider just getting into gaited. He does have a work ethic so I recommend someone that rides regularly.  Up to date on all vaccines and teeth- He is ready to cover miles with the right trail partner this summer.
