Concho was started by the Nevada Prison Program, used for some ranch and trail work, but ridden lightly in his past few years. . He would love a job! and could do Endurance or trail, and trail trials- has been in obstacle workshops and proves to have a very solid confident mind. He is sensitive, and moves off of your leg cues, and follows your feel very well. Because of his sensitivity I recommend an advanced beginner up rider- as he does need quiet hands and legs or he will try too hard to please.

Ridge is a solid minded, smooth, stocky trail horse. Big boned and sturdy enough to carry a man, and personable and handsome enough for a woman. He has experienced many of the local Sierra Foothills and Folsom area riding trails, including: Granite Bay, Sterling Point, Hidden Falls, Cool, Magnolia, Cronin Ranch, Fleming Meadows. He’s been on long and short overnight campouts to Stone Cellar, Tells Creek, Silver Lake, Skillman, and BCHCA equestrian ride-outs. He trailers like a dream, loading by himself, works great with the farrier, and rides barefooted or with front boots for rough granite terrain. He’ll ride anywhere in the lineup, front/middle/back. He is surefooted and laid back.  Does not rush, or spook easily, has a great temperament. He moves off of your leg cues for side-passing, opening gates and leg yielding.   His gaits are super smooth, including a canter.  This is an all around horse that enjoys the trails and is great fun to ride!  Asking $4,000.00

RUSSET   “Confederate Rolin Thunder” is a 15 year old, registered  (copy of papers avail/ originals lost)  Tennessee Walker.  Foal date:  August 18, 1999.  Healthy, sound and UTD on all vaccines.  Russet is a steady, gaited, well built (approx. 15.2 H) bay gelding.  Easy keeper and kept barefoot.  Wears boots on the front only during trail rides.  Used mostly for trail rides.  Has been exposed to cows, obstacle clinics, water, camping.  He has seen many miles, and can be ridden by almost any level rider.  Russet was purchased to be a husband horse, but husband does not have the time to ride anymore.  Asking $3,000.  OBO
