Wirgler Workshops January 2015

Dear Susan, I want to think you for a very informative, creative, fun and safe clinic.  I realize that you did not feel well, as you were fighting a head cold, but you pushed through it just to give us all of your "pearls of wisdom".  As I listened to you and began to realized the depth of your knowledge.  You were explaining training concepts that I had not practiced or applied before.  Your big challenge for the day was to pass those new riding concepts on to us so that we could preform difficult transitions with our horses.  In order to help the class understand, you started with the basic idea and built upon it.  With each maneuver we practice and discussed what worked and didn't work.   I began to understand what I needed to do and why it was important for the horse.  Even thought my timing was not right on, I saw improvement in Sierra's responses.  I was impressed that you used a very basic adult learning technique..."teach by going from what the students know and what we don't know, and build upon it" You made the day fun and everyone improved so much by the end of the clinic.
